Our Toku~

We bought a bunny on 19.01.09 at a pet store in Seria. Bought the cage, food container, water container and food for it. Deciding the name was the hard part...lastly thanks to Lysa, i named it Toku.... [lysa name her kitty, toku which means bunny rabbit] hehe

Toku loves to eat, sleep and a bit noty...once you let it out of the cage, its difficult to get Toku back in it.

On Saturday, 30.05.09, Toku had an accident where his back leg got cought in its cage then panic on trying to get it out, lastly, Toku twisted its leg and broke it. That afternoon, we brought Toku to the Government Vet Clinic at Sg.Liang, they don't know what to do with it, they just gave Toku an antibiotic injection.

We really don't want to see Toku's leg hanging like that, no choice left, we got to bring Toku to a private vet clinic: Dr Mamdoh's at Lubok Palam. Doctor on call was Dr. Ajeng [Toku's Doctor]. Making appointment at 3.30pm at Dr.Mamdoh's, having high hopes that Toku's leg can be fixed and seeing Toku back in four legs. Toku got admitted at Dr.Mamdoh's.

Sadly, i received a call from Dr.Ajeng at 7pm, Toku's leg had to be amputated.

On Sunday, 31st May 2009, we brought Toku back home. With medicine and capsule from Dr.Ajeng for Toku, all of the services cost about $150. Pricey ...
